Also in Ethos:
We believe that an organisation can, and should, consider its environmental impact, even if only with a selfish focus on saving it and its' clients money. Of course, we have a wider vision. As individuals, we walk and cycle rather than drive, wherever possible. Recycling is part of our daily routine. As an organisation, we also try to minimise our environmental impact, particularly when the 'ethical' choice turns out to be the best business choice.
Our IT capabilities cut down dramatically on our use of paper. What paper we still require is sourced exclusively from post-consumer recycled stock. Our web-conferencing facilitiesŲ reduce unnecessary business travel, and in a modest way are our contribution to lowering the country's carbon emissions.
The small things matter. That's why we use low-energy light bulbs. Taken together our decisions and practice have a real impact. This is measurable financially, and our lower costs feed our competitive fees.
¹ Web-conferencing facilities are dependent on the client being in possession of the necessary computer hardware and software.
