e-LITIGATE offers a mix of traditional agency, together with progressive freelance services. The firm's remote e-FREELANCE service sits at the heart of the business. In our specific area of expertise, Civil LitigationØ, e-FREELANCE offers client firms the facility to offload a relevant workload for a flexible period.

When will the service be useful?

We envisage that client firms will find the service of use in the following situations:

1. Permanent or temporary lack of fee-earner support within the client firm for, inter alia, the following reasons:-
   • Holidays/Sabbaticals
   • Maternity/Paternity leave
   • Short-term excess workload
   • Illness
2. Requirement for specialist input when the relevant expertise is not contained within the client firm. This will avoid the need to turn down work from an existing client, just because it falls outwith the client firm's areas of expertise.

How will the service work?

It will offer a specialised short to long-term case management service for over-stretched practices. The client firm will delegate work for execution by us. In extreme cases, a busy client firm will have the opportunity to delegate the management of an entire case or caseload to our firm (the "service firm").

The client firm will maintain their usual direct client contact and continuity of service at all times. Meanwhile, the service firm will work behind the scenes for them, to process work that ordinarily could not be handled promptly, or possibly even at all.

The service firm will fee the client firm direct, at agreed rates that undercut the client firm's charging rates. This will generate a positive financial benefit for the client firm.
